My name's Eric, and I took and passed the California bar exam in July 2001. I used to work at a top corporate law firm in San Francisco; now I'm back in school, getting an engineering degree to ultimately become a patent attorney. (It seems I can never get enough of school!) I used to be all sorts of things -- an English teacher in Korea, a public policy researcher in Germany, a student at Stanford and Yale Law School, a web developer, an Internet startup entrepreneur. I've always liked computers and online communities, so this is one of those rare moments where I get to mix that interest with my current profession.
